The Cutler-Hammer/Eaton SVX050A2-4A1N1 variable/adjustable frequency drive is one of the drives from the SVX9000 product line that offers modular, configurable and compact components for systems operating machinery in various industries. The SVX050A2-4A1N1 drive provides easy communication with standard control systems and they support communication protocols such as EtherNet IP, Modbus, DeviceNet, LonWorks and other. The SVX product line includes three software tools that are available as an option: 9000XLoad, 9000XDrive and 9000XEngine. All of these software solutions are built for custom tasks that are performed by advanced users in order to fully expand the capabilities of the drive. The keypad that is provided with the SVX050A2-4A1N1 drive is an excellent tool for viewing and changing the operating parameters, as well as to program the drive according to requirements of the user.
The SVX050A2-4A1N1 model comes without brake chopper and with standard software. The frame of the drive is marked with FR7 and its enclosure is rated as NEMA Type 12/IP54. Additionally, the drive operates on around 480 Volts for input voltage; it also generates a 50 Horsepower. As with most of the drives from this series, this drive is also fitted with an alphanumeric keypad that helps the user to program the drive with ease. The certifications of the drive include compliance with UL 508C, IEC 61800-2, and EN 61800-3 Level H standards. The SVX drive with an FR7 frame is 256.53 millimeters long, 629.92 millimeters high, and 236.22 millimeters wide, while its weight rounds up at 35 kilograms per 77.2 pounds.
