The SVX005A1-4A1B1 SVX 9000 Adjustable Frequency Drive by Eaton Cutler-Hammer is a 5 Hp industrial drive used for controlling the speed of an industrial motor. The drive has a 3-phase 280-500V AC input voltage at 50-60Hz and it has a maximum short circuit withstand of 100 kAIC. The SVX005A1-4A1B1 drive supplies the connected motor with a voltage ranging between 0 to the drive’s input range at 50°C (122°F), and it can provide about 200% of the starting current boost for 2s at a standard frequency of 0-320Hz and a resolution of 0.01Hz. The drive uses an SVX frequency control (V/f) and an open-loop sensorless vector control with a 1-16 kHz switching frequency, and an Accel/Decel time of 0-300s, with a 30% x Tn default braking torque. The SVX005A1-4A1B1 has 2 configurable analog inputs with 0-10V DC input control voltage at 200kΩ input impedance, and 0-24mA input current at 250Ω and with an accuracy of ±1%.
