The RGH320033E is a 3-pole, Cutler-Hammer high-interrupting capacity circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton. It is part of the Series G, RG frame family of Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers and its maximum operating voltage is 690 Volts AC, 2000 Amps, and its performance rating is 65 and 70 kiloamperes interrupting capacity at 480 Volts AC and 415 Volts AC, respectively. It features an adjustable Digitrip RMS 310 Electronic trip unit, adjustable long delay pickup, adjustable short delay pickup with a fixed short delay time, and imperial tapped line and load conductor terminations. The RGH320033E circuit breaker provides reliable control as well as a safe short circuit, overload load, and fault currents protection for a wide range of industrial equipment within its rating.
Depending on the environmental requirements and the user’s preference, the RGH320033E circuit breaker can be mounted on a panelboard or in an enclosure that meets the requirements of the environment where it is used. Compared to standard circuit protection devices, the RGH320033E circuit breaker offers higher performance levels under different operating conditions and it takes up less mounting space by up to 35%, and it works with the most common internal and external accessories. Its toggle switch handle works as a status indicator and operating mechanism. In addition, the colors on the small windows to the right and left of the switch also indicate its on, off, or tripped status. In the event of a trip due to overload, the RGH320033E circuit breaker does not reclose the circuit automatically, thereby giving the operators the opportunity to determine the cause of the trip and rectify it before restarting operations.
