The NGS312032E is manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. It is a digitrip circuit breaker which has a performance rating of 50 kAIC at 480 Volts AC and there are three poles in the device. The maximum current rating for the circuit breaker is 1200 Amps and the device has a digitrip 310+ Electronic LSI trip unit. The NGS312032E has an imperial tapped line and load conductors as terminations. These breakers do not ship with lugs. These circuit breakers can be used in a wide variety of applications which include electrical OEM, machinery OEM, navy breakers, mining, current limiting breakers, etc. The typical applications also include control panels in machine tools and motor control centers, panel boards, feeder pillars, switchgear, and individual enclosure.
The NGS312032E circuit breaker has a toggle handle operating mechanism which indicates the switching position. There are 3 positions: on, off, and tripped. The handle moves to the trip position when it detects overcurrent, overvoltage, short-circuit, and earth leakage conditions. Once in the trip position, users will need to reset the device by moving the handle into the off position before it can be moved to the on position. The digitrip circuit breakers have a thermal memory which prevents the system from overheating due to rapid overcurrent fluctuations which occur in quick successions. The NGS312032E is tested to be operated at an ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. It is UL listed, CSA, CE, IEC, KEMA, and KEUR listed for global applications. The circuit breaker undergoes testing for reliability and durability to ensure optimal performance and reduce the failures in the field.
