The Eaton Cutler-Hammer JT3150FA is a product code for a molded case circuit breaker trip unit. The product is part of the globally approved product series (Series G) and it offers numerous functionalities and options, along with 5 different frames to choose from. The Series G circuit breakers are intended for applications where a reliable and efficient circuit protection device is needed. These circuit breakers meet the requirements of and are built in accordance with the CSA, UL, IEC, CE, and the CCC standards. The circuit breakers from this extensive product series are made from global applications and they are used as electrical OEMs, machinery OEMs, breakers for mining and DC breakers, breakers for earth leakage applications, breakers for limiting currents, and navy breakers which are in accordance with standards such as the UL-489 Supplement SB, ABS/NVR, MIL-C-17588, and the MIL-C-17361.
The JT3150FA trip unit for circuit breakers with a molded case comes from the product family that offers compact devices with up to 35% size reduction in comparison with Series C products, which are also well-known circuit breakers made by Eaton.
