The JT2200FA is a circuit breaker trip unit from Eaton’s Series G product series. The Series G circuit breakers by Eaton Cutler-Hammer offers molded case circuit breakers that are designed to meet industrial demands and requirements according to global standards. In regard to the certifications that are included, the JT2200FA Series G circuit breaker trip unit is rated by the IEC, listed by UL, and certified by the CSA. Besides that, this trip unit complies with the CE regulations, so it is also CE marked. The molded case circuit breakers from Series G have up to 35% reduction in size and they feature common internal accessories through 630 Amps that can be installed directly in the field. Also, it is important to mention that this product line features an advanced trip unit functionality which enables the users to operate without the use of rating plugs.
The Series G circuit breaker is offered in 15 to 2500 Amps range and it provides significantly better performance levels while requiring far less space than standard circuit protection devices or comparable fusible devices. In addition to that, this amazing product line includes electronic trip units rated from 20 to 2500 Amps, leakage modules for 30 mA of ground fault/earth applications, built-in ground fault protection for down to 20 Amps, and many more. The frames that are offered through this series include an EG frame (15 to 125 Amps), a JG frame (63 to 250 Amps), an LG frame (250 to 630 Amps), an NG frame (320 to 1200 Amps), and an RG frame (800 to 2500 Amps). The JT2200FA includes a JG Frame and 2 poles. The amperage rating of this model is 200 Amps and it features fixed thermal adjustable magnetic trip units. The JT2200FA circuit breaker trip unit has a standardized design that will meet any demands from A global customer base. The Eaton molded case circuit breakers are generally used for many different industrial applications so they are used as machinery OEMs, electrical OEMs, Earth leakage, breakers for current limiting, DC breakers rated from 125 to 750 Volts DC, mining breakers rated at up to 1100 Volts AC, and navy breakers that are in accordance with standards such as the UL-489, MIL-C-17588, MIL-C-17361, and the ABS/NVR.
