The JGH316032G is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker is part of Series G of the JGH type of molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker features 3 poles, 3 phases, 160 Amps, 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 70 kAIC at 415 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 25 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC interrupting ratings, and it operates with 600 Volts AC. The Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker is contained in a JG Frame Enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker can be configured with an end cap for the termination of the line and load conductors. The end cap protects the conductor by using a ring-type connector. The Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker features a trip LED device that shows the cause of a trip through an LED indicator. The trip LED device integrates directly onto the circuit breaker trip unit. When the Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker trips, the trip LED device indicates the cause of the trip via the LED indication.
A 24 Volts DC power source should be supplied to the Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker for the Digitrip OPTIM trip unit, which is meant for communication either on the main PowerNet network or a sub-network to a breaker interface module. The Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker’s load is 45 mA of current. Normally one power supply is necessary per switchboard to provide control power to a breaker interface module and the OPTIM trip unit. The Cutler-Hammer JGH316032G circuit breaker features an IQ Energy Sentinel device which is a highly accurate, microprocessor-based device designed to control the power and energy readings.
