The JGE3150FAG is series JG Cutler Hammer circuit breaker from Eaton. The breaker has a molded case, 3 poles, a current rating of 150 Amps, and branch circuit protection. The JGE3150FAG uses a fixed thermal and an adjustable magnetic trip unit. The circuit breaker also has an optional shunt trip and an optional auxiliary switch. The rated operating voltage for the JGE3150FAG is 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC. For the terminals, the JGE3150FAG has both line and load terminals. The circuit breaker is 6 pounds in weight, and it measures 6.25 inches in height, 5 inches in width, and 9.25 inches in depth. The JGE3150FAG Eaton circuit breaker has an interrupt rating of 18000 AIC at 600 Volts AC, 25000 AIC at 480 Volts AC, and 65000 AIC at 240 Volts AC. The JGE3150FAG is panel mountable and it provides protection for the neutral terminal.
The circuit breaker has type J-frame. Breakers with this type of frame, including the JGE3150FAG, have a built-in test port to accommodate a test kit. The kit is used to perform a test of the long delay, short delay, and ground fault functions. Additionally, the JGE3150FAG features an LED indicator which is used as a no-trip indicator when using the test port. An additional LED status indicator is also present. The extra indicator flashes green to indicate the operational status of the trip unit. If the LED indicator on the JGE3150FAG blinks, the load current has exceeded 20% of the maximum current rating. The JGE3150FAG meets the UL489 and the IEC EN60898/60947-2 standards.
