The EGS3035FFB is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker is part of Series G of the Eaton EGS Type of molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker feature 35 Amps of current rating, 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 3 poles, a fixed trip unit, and a bolt-on terminal. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker is contained in a Frame EG Enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker consists of a ground fault alarm unit that is installed remotely on the circuit breaker and features an indicating light or test button. The indicating light/test button is designed to give an alarm during a ground fault or light when the Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker trips. A 120 Volts AC power should be supplied to the ground fault alarm unit to power the internal relay and the light that indicates remotely by deploying the 1 NC contact and the 1 NO contact.

The Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker is equipped with a breaker interface device which is panel-mounted on the front side of an electrical unit or in a remote place. The breaker interface device is designed for accessing, configuring, testing, and displaying information for the Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker trip unit and other components. The breaker interface device is made up of 8 operating buttons, 4 windows for display purposes, 18 LEDs, and a graphical time to indicate the Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker status, operating information, energy monitoring, and protection status. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker can be configured with a motor operator that provides remote control via a pushbutton or similar pilot module. The operator can positively switch the Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker by engaging the circuit breaker handle and by using an operating arm. The motor operator is energized sequentially to actuate the lever arm that moves the module to either the on/off position. Several means are provided which are necessary for emergency manual operation and an internal cutoff function is used for breaking the control. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker is equipped with a GFR relay that has zone-selective interlocking circuitry for interlocking several relays on a single system. This enables the circuit breaker relay to instantly clear the error by tripping the Cutler-Hammer EGS3035FFB circuit breaker. The GFR relay will send a signal to the relay unit “upstream” simultaneously to stop the operation of the disconnect device.
