The EGS3025FFG is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton. It is rated at 25 Amps and it is suitable for protecting 3-phase circuits against overloading, fault currents, and short circuits. Like all Series G molded case circuit breakers from Eaton, the EGS3025FFG circuit breaker is listed for global applications and it can be used with different equipment that matches its rating. Eaton’s EGS3025FFG circuit breaker comes with factory-installed terminals and it can be connected to a power source or equipment with aluminum and copper conductors that match its rating. It features high repulsion contacts that guarantee safe and efficient circuit protection, and its support for different mounting options offers the users flexible installation options.
The EGS3025FFG circuit breaker supports a good number of field-installable Eaton circuit breaker accessories such as undervoltage release mechanisms, an auxiliary switch, an alarm switch, electrical operators, a shunt trip, and multi-wire connections to meet different system and user preferences. To access the breaker remotely, an electrical operator can be installed on it. Note that the EGS3025FFG circuit breaker must be manually reset before turning it on after it trips. Its casing is resistant to the growth of fungus and terminal shields made of similar material can be used to protect its terminations from moisture, which may result in corrosion. To determine if the EGS3025FFG circuit breaker is suitable for use with a piece of equipment, simply compare its rating with the information available on the nameplate of the equipment. Note that exceeding the load capacity of this breaker may result in damage or reduced performance.
