The EGS3020FFB is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker is part of Series G of the Eaton EGS type of molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker features 20 Amps current rating, 600 Volts AC, 3 poles, 3 phases, interruption ratings of 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 85 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 22 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and a fixed magnetic trip. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker is contained in an EG Frame Enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker is equipped with a cylinder lock which internally locks the trip handle in the tripped position, preventing the switching on of the Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker unnecessarily. The cylinder lock is pre-installed in the left pole only of the Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker cover. The trip-free mechanism enables the Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker to trip when the handle lock blocks the circuit breaker handle in the on position.

The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker feature a key interlock design for locking the circuit breaker handle externally in the off position. An extended deadbolt prevents the movement of the circuit breaker handle when the key interlock is locked. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker can be configured with a walking beam interlock when interlocking the circuit breaker mechanically with another EGS Type molded case circuit breaker. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker may incorporate an electrical operator which is a 1-unit solenoid module. The electrical operator allows the operator to switch the circuit breaker either locally or remotely to the on, off, and tripped position. The electrical operator is installed on the Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker cover along the circuit breaker trimline. The Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker is equipped with a plug-in adapter that enhances easy installation and the front removal of the circuit breaker. The plug-in adapter is also applicable in rear connection applications due to the 3-pole configuration of the Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker. A panelboard connecting strap is provided for connecting the Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker terminals to the panelboard bus. The operator should install an auxiliary switch in order for the control the panel builder to indicate the Cutler-Hammer EGS3020FFB circuit breaker status electronically.
