The Eaton EGS2035FFB is a 2-pole ED type circuit breaker that is rated at 35 Amps, 600Y/347 Volts AC, and at 50 at 60 Hertz. Its interrupt capacity details are the following: 22 kAIC at 600Y/347 Volts AC, 35 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and 85 kAIC at 240 Volts AC. The EGS2035FFB supports reverse feed and HID applications. The complete Series G EGS2035FFB includes a built-in fixed trip module which is of the thermal-magnetic variety. The terminals available for use include the steel terminals with the catalog number 3T125EF which is compatible with #14 to 3/0 AWG copper conductors and the aluminum terminals with the catalog number 3TA125EF which is compatible with copper or aluminum wiring rated at #14 to 1/0 AWG.
The Eaton Corporation gives the following recommendations which should be followed during the circuit breaker installation, maintenance, and inspection processes: the breaker must be switched off, the voltage should be absent from the working area, and the associated electrical equipment must also be switched off. Breaker inspection is required periodically to check for the presence of dust and moisture, cracks in the breaker surface, the working of mechanical linkages, the trip mechanism, and the breaker mounting. The breaker should be replaced if it is found damaged or if the tripping mechanism does not perform according to the specifications.
