The EG Type Eaton EGS2020FFB is a Series G circuit breaker. It is an EG Frame circuit breaker with 2 poles. The EGS2020FFB complies with the CE specifications. It is a CSA, IEC, and UL certified circuit breaker. The EGS2020FFB is a complete breaker with a non-interchangeable thermal–magnetic trip module. Its current specification is 20 Amps and the voltage specifications are 600Y/347 Volts AC. The interrupting capacity ratings are as follows: 85 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 25 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and 22 kAIC at 600Y/347 Volts AC. Bolt-on terminals are available for the EGS2020FFB. Aluminum or steel terminals can be chosen according to the requirements. Aluminum or copper conductors from a wide variety of AWG gauges can be chosen. Use of joint solutions with aluminum conductors prevents overheating of terminals which prevents spurious breaker tripping.
Death, severe injury, or serious property damage can occur during the installation and maintenance processes of high-voltage devices. Therefore, the following precautions should be followed during the installation or maintenance processors, and the EGS2020FFB circuit breaker should be in the off state, all other electrical equipment should also be in the off state and the work area should be clear of all voltage. The maintenance or installation activities should be carried out by trained and experienced technicians. As a UL certified breaker, the EGS2020FFB is factory sealed after accessory installation. This also helps in preventing any altering of the breaker calibration. The weight of the EGS2020FFB is 0.91 kilograms. The circuit breaker enclosure dimensions are 139.7 x 50.8 x 75.9 millimeters.
