The EGH3080FFG is a molded case circuit breaker, specifically a magnetic and thermal one that belongs to the Frame EG line of the Series G molded case circuit breakers made by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer EGH3080FFG molded case circuit breaker provides a double detection mechanism which consists of a fixed-thermal trip unit that performs the detection through a bimetal strip that gets heated up by the current and fixed magnetic trip unit that performs the detection through an electromagnet. Both mechanisms are different, and both act with a different timeline but at the same time, these mechanisms have proven to complement each other. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer EGH3080FFG molded case circuit breaker has an amperage rating of 80 Amps at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a performance rating of 65 symmetrical Amps at a voltage of 480 Volts AC.
