The EGH3030FFG is a feed-thru high interrupting molded case circuit breaker from Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The EGH3030FFG has a non-interchangeable trip unit and it contains lug terminals on the load and line sides. The circuit breaker supports instantaneous and LI functions and it should be mounted on a panel using screws. The EGH3030FFG is part of the Cutler-Hammer Series G molded case circuit breakers. This series of circuit breakers are designed to meet circuit protection needs anywhere in the world. When purchased, the G Series Eaton circuit breakers come with mounting hardware and lugs to add to their convenience. The Westinghouse EGH3030FFG complete molded circuit breaker has a maximum operating voltage rated at 415 Volts AC but it can also comfortably operate in a system with a voltage rating of 480 Volts AC.
The maximum operated current for the EGH3030FFG is rated at 30 Amps. The tripping mechanism for the EGH3030FFG is a fixed thermal fixed magnetic type of tripping mechanism. Eaton circuit breakers, including the EG type, exceed the IEEE standards and the flash hazard calculations. Since the EGH3030FFG is an EG type breaker, it supports the AUX1A1BPK auxiliary contact. The Cutler-Hammer EGH3030FFG breaker has a breaker capacity of 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and of 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The breaker is 4.25 inches in height, 4 inches in width, and 6.5 inches in depth, and it has a net weight of 2 pounds. Additionally, the EGH3030FFG contains an optional undervoltage release, shunt trip, and auxiliary switch. The circuit breaker saves on space due to its small frame size.
