The Cutler-Hammer EGH3030FFB is a Type EG Series G circuit breaker. The breaker operates at a 50 or 60 Hertz frequency and it has bolt-on terminals. The EGH3030FFB is a complete breaker with a trip unit, frame, standard terminals, and mounting hardware. The trip unit is non-interchangeable. The EGH3030FFB is suitable for use in systems using a 3-phase power source and it uses a fixed magnetic-thermal trip type. The circuit breaker has a line and load lug terminals and it has three poles. The EGH3030FFB has an operating temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, and it is an EGH molded case circuit breaker. The current rating for the Westinghouse EGH3030FFB stands at 30 Amps and its maximum rated voltage is capped at 600Y/347 Volts.
The breaker is CSA certified, UL listed, and IEC and HACR rated. As is standard for other Series G Eaton circuit breakers, the EGH3030FFB supports multiwire connectors to distribute the load from the circuit breaker to several devices, eliminating the need for separate distribution terminal blocks. The EGH3030FFB uses the EIPBK DIN rail adapter when mounting the circuit breaker on a DIN rail. A metric base mount is also supplied with the Series G molded case circuit breakers. The EGH3030FFB has an interrupt rating of 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 25 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and 42 kAIC at a DC voltage rating of either 125 or 250 Volts. Having an EG frame size, the EGH3030FFB has a 500 Volts AC rated insulation voltage.
