The EGH3025FFG is a 3-pole circuit breaker which has an EG frame and which is manufactured by Eaton for various applications. Some of the applications for the EGH3025FFG include motor control and protection, solid state motor control, and other applications where it is required to protect the device from over current and over voltage conditions. The users can contact their local Eaton distributor or visit the manufacturer’s website if the users need any additional information regarding the part number and also if they need assistance with the installation and the maintenance instructions. The installation of the EGH3025FFG must be done in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer and users must make sure the person installing the system is familiar with electrical installations.
All the relevant functional tests for the EGH3025FFG must be performed and the users should make sure the device is operating according to expectations before it is handed over to the users. The Series G circuit breakers are made to be operated in an ambient operating temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and the glass-fiber body protects the device from mold and fungus growth. The device must be inspected from time to time to ensure satisfactory operation and to avoid any failures. Dust, dirt, or moisture must be wiped away with a lint-free cloth to ensure longer operation. There are 3 switch positions in the circuit breaker which are the on, off, and tripped positions. When there is an overload or overcurrent condition, the EGH3025FFG circuit breaker moves to the tripped position and the users need to reset it by moving it to the off position and then back to the on position for normal operation.
