The Eaton Cutler-Hammer EGH2015FFG Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a Series G completely assembled circuit breaker with a thermal-magnetic trip unit, and it is used in most low-voltage systems for the protection of conductors and connected appliances. This breaker comes with a 2-pole design with steel pressure type standard load and line end terminals and it is HACR rated for use with air-conditioning, refrigerating, and heating appliances. The EGH2015FFG is rated at 600 Volts AC, and it is suitable only for 600 Volts AC circuits, and it has a nominal current rating of 15 Amps with an interrupting capacity of 65 kAIC. The EGH2015FFG comes already assembled with 2 standard load and line end terminals, an EG frame, and a thermal-magnetic trip unit with hand toggle operating mechanism.
Its standard supplied terminals are made of copper/aluminum steel and also supplied with the breaker are terminal covers and a metric rated mounting hardware and a control terminal kit. It has a thermal-magnetic trip unit that is designed to be fixed and that cannot be adjusted in the field, and this trip unit is capable of providing instantaneous trip action in the case of abnormal circuit condition or a circuit overload. The EGH2015FFG’s operating mechanism prevents contacts from being held close in the event of an overload and its toggle design is used to indicate the beaker’s position. All Eaton Cutler-Hammer designed thermal-magnetic circuit breakers are rated at 80% by default, and they can de-rate above a designated temperature value of 40 degrees Celsius. The EGH2015FFG is designed to meet the UL, IEC, and CE standards, and it is shipped with a net weight of 0.9 kilograms and total mounting dimensions of 50.8 x 139.7 x 75.9 millimeters.
