The Eaton EGH1040FFB is a circuit breaker device from the EG family of Eaton molded case breakers. It has been designed and manufactured by the Eaton Cutler-Hammer company. Both the thermal and the magnetic trips are kept constant in this breaker module. It is a complete breaker device and it comes inside of an EG frame for protection. It is a single-pole device which runs on 40 Amps of current. It has multiple interruption capacities which are 100 kAIC at 480 Volts AC and 35 kAIC at 600Y/347 Volts AC. It is a bolt-on breaker device. The EGH1040FFB comes with an adjustable frequency range and it fluctuates between 50 and 60 Hertz, depending on the load that is on the breaker device.
