The Series G breaker device from Eaton Cutler-Hammer is a must-have for industrial environments. The EGH1020FFB has an EG Frame and it comes inside of a molded case made of aluminum. This is a single-pole circuit breaker device and it is mostly used with single-phase AC applications. This device operates with 20 Amps of current. The device is a complete breaker device with a non-interchangeable trip. The magnetic and thermal trips are both kept fixed in this variant. It offers a choice of interruption capacities which can be 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and 35 kAIC for 600Y/347 Volts AC. The EGH1020FFB operates with a voltage rating of 600/347 Volts AC.
The EGH1020FFB is an industrial grade breaker device and it comes with a DIN rail and lugs. It comes certified with a various rating like the UL, CSA, CE, KEMA, and IEC ratings. It has passed the CE compliance standards. It is a compact device and it frees up panel space during the installation. It comes with a high speed "blow-open" action. The breaker has an advanced tripping functionality and it can be adjusted for maximum flexibility. It also comes with a long-time trip unit and an instantaneous trip unit. The shunt trip, auxiliary switch, and Undervoltage release are all kept optional in this breaker. The breaker device can operate at different frequencies of 50 to 60 Hertz, depending on the load. The EGH1020FFB comes with a lever on the front side. It is used to power the device on and off. A push-to-trip switch is present below the on/off lever and it is used to check the tripping functionality of the device manually. The optimum running temperature of this device is 40 degrees Celsius.
