The Eaton Cutler-Hammer EGB3015FFG Series G Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a 3-pole molded case circuit in the G Series of circuit breakers, which provides high-performance main and branch circuit protection in a variety of (global) applications. This circuit breaker like, all G Series circuit breakers, provides excellent protection in a very small and compact package, and it is designed for simple and cost-effective maintenance because the individual components which makes up this circuit breaker can be easily replaced on site. The EGB3015FFG has a standard trip rating of 15 Amps, with a maximum interrupting rating of 18 KAIC at 480 Volts AC and 25 KAIC at 240 Volts AC, and it is applicable in applications with 690 Volts AC operating voltage.
This circuit breaker has a separate trip unit made of fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip elements, and it has both a load and a line side standard terminal for all field wiring. The EGB3015FFG has a rated insulation voltage of 690 Volts AC across both the main conducting path and the auxiliary circuit, and it has an IEC-rated maximum operating voltage of 690 Volts AC with a NEMA rated voltage of 600 Volts AC. Like all Series G circuit breakers, it has a rated permissible temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees Celsius (-4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit), and it has an 83% permissible load at 60 degrees Celsius in plant protection applications and a 91% permissible load for starter combinations. The has the main operating switch as a standard operating mechanism, with box type load/line terminals made of 2.5 to 95-millimeter stranded or solid copper wire. The EGB3015FFG weighs approximately 1.4 kilograms (3.1 pounds), with dimensions of 139.7 x 76.2 x 76 millimeters (5.5 x 3.0 x 2.9 inches), and it is UL, CSA, CE, IEC, and KEMA-certified.
