The EGB2060FFG is a Series G molded case circuit breaker from Eaton. The circuit breaker has a maximum rated current of 60 Amps and the device has 2 poles. The circuit breaker is of the fixed thermal and the fixed magnetic type. It is shipped with the standard line and load terminations. When beginning the installation of the EGB2060FFG, it is necessary to check the circuit breaker for any visible damage. If the users find that the circuit breaker has any visible cracks or that is not operating as expected, then they must replace the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker must be installed by a person who is trained in and experienced with installing electrical equipment like the EGB2060FFG.
The person doing the installation must follow all the safety regulations set out by the local rules of the country in which they are installing the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker switch has 3 states, which are the on, off, and tripped states. The on-state on the circuit breaker is indicated by a red color on the device while the off state is indicated by a green color. When the circuit breaker is in the tripped state, the indicating color is white. These colors help to easily identify the current state of the device and to let the users take the necessary action. When users are installing the circuit breaker, they need to make sure the switch of the device is in the off position and the voltage from the system is turned off. This is necessary to prevent any injuries due to electric shock. The users can install the EGB2060FFG by following the instructions provided in the installation manual.
