The LT360036 is a digital circuit breaker manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The LT360036 is a trip unit which has three poles and the maximum current rating of the device is 600 Amps and it has a 310 + Electronic LSIG. The breaker is from the Series G family and it is HACR rated and CE certified. The circuit breaker has various features like trip indication, a ground fault alarm, and a high load alarm. The LT360036 eliminates the need for rating plugs and it can be installed by following the steps provided in the installation manual. Before beginning the installation, it is important to verify the rating of the device is within the limits of the mechanical system rating.
While unpacking the LT360036, make sure that there is no damage to the device and if there is any, notify the supplier before proceeding. Follow the installation instructions as mentioned in the manual. The installation must be done by people trained in and familiar with the equipment. Before beginning the installation, it is advisable to turn off the power supply of the device and the switch of the trip unit must be in the off position. This is important to ensure the safety of the person doing the installation. Make sure the wires are secured into the terminals and that there are no loose connections before turning on the power. Perform all the necessary functional and performance tests as mentioned by the manufacturer before using the system. All the covers must be replaced as they were before.
