The LT360032 is a Digitrip 310+ electronic trip unit for 3-pole Series-G molded case Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. Its current rating is 600 Amps and it is suitable for providing true RMS sensing to improve system protection, limit nuisance tripping, and prevent overheating caused by fault currents that occur in quick succession while providing flexible current curves handling capabilities. A test jack, adjustable ground fault pickup/time, and short delay pickup/time are available onboard the LT360032 Digitrip 310+ electronic trip unit. The short delay time can be set to 100, 200, or 300 milliseconds while the ground fault time is adjustable between 150, 300, and 500 milliseconds. It also features adjustable instantaneous pickup capability and its adjustable long delay pickup can be achieved by using an adjustable rating plug.
The performance of the LT360032 trip unit can be tested with a Digitrip 310+ test kit. A remote ground fault alarm unit with a separate 120 Volts AC power supply can be installed with it for remote monitoring and local auxiliary and bell alarm contacts can also installed in the circuit. Note that applications that require other internal accessories call for the mounting of all the internal accessories as well as the LT360032 trip unit in the breaker's frame before mounting the circuit breaker and connecting power to it. The rugged casing of the breaker enclosing the LT360032 trip unit makes it suitable for use in different work environments but exposure to corrosive gases can cause malfunctioning or serious damage.
