The Eaton Cutler-Hammer LGS3630NN Breaker Frame is a breaker frame for the Series G family of circuit breakers used for protection of conductors and connected electrical devices from short-circuiting and current overload. The LGS3630NN, like all LG breaker frames, is designed around a space-saving footprint, which confers small and compact packaging while improving performance at the same time. This also allows for easy field installation of internal components. It has a nominal rating of 630 Amperes and can offer a 50 KA (Kilo-Amps) maximum interrupt rating at 480 Volts AC. This breaker frame is designed for an application with a 600 Volt AC maximum terminal voltage and comes with a built-in ground fault protection for enhanced protection.
The LGS3630NN is shipped with a load side terminal only, which allows for easy field wiring, and it has a 3-pole wiring design, suitable for 3-phase applications. It is designed with a hand toggle trip free operating mechanism of quick make/break type, which prevents the closing of breaker’s contact in case of abnormal circuit current, and can also indicate breaker’s position. The LGS3630NN has an ambient temperature limit of 40 degree Celsius (104 Degree Fahrenheit) and is used in 0 to 95% non-condensing and non-corrosive relative humidity environment. The LGS3630NN is built to meet UL, CSA, CE, IEC, and KEMA standards, and it has a total mounting volume of 139.20 x 257.30 x 103.90 millimeters, with an approximate weight of 7.3 kilograms.
