Manufactured by Cutler-Hammer industries, the LGFCT250 is one of the best thermal-magnetic trip circuit breakers in the market. Supporting the JG, LG, NG, and RG frame types, the LGFCT250 is a 3-pole thermal magnetic circuit-breaker. The JG frame type of the LGFCT250 has a special option for a 14X setting as well. The LGFCT250 has an RMS sensing option and for protection, it has an over-temperature trip that comes with a fixed rating plug. The amperage rating of the LGFCT250 ranges between 20 and 2500 Amps. The interruption ratings of the LGFCT250 range between 35, 70, and 100 kA at 415 Volts. For long-delay operations, the LGFCT250 comes with a high load alarm and a long delay thermal memory as well as multiple long-delay adjustment settings. For short delay operations, the LGFCT250 comes with a ZSI short delay time, a flat short delay time, and multiple short delay setting options.
For instantaneous operations, the LGFCT250 comes with a discriminator and an option for an instantaneous override as well as multiple settings. The LGFCT250 has no notable ground fault features. The system monitoring options of the LGFCT250 includes a digital display, options for monitoring the current, the voltage, the power factor, and the harmonics (power quality). If the cause of a trip is detected, the LED lights of the LGFCT250 light up to indicate it. It has no system communication options. The width of the LGFCT250 is 5.48 inches and its weight without packaging comes to 1 pound and 7 ounces. The device is shipped with an installation manual and it comes with a 1-year warranty.
