The LGE3630NN is a Cutler-Hammer Series G molded case circuit breaker. The LGE3630NN has a voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and a current rating of 630 Amps. The Eaton molded case circuit breaker has 3 poles, an LG frame type and suitable conditions for plant protection. The breaker’s capacity ratings are 18, 35, and 65 kAIC at 600, 480, and 240 Volts AC, respectively. The LGE3630NN meets the IEC, CE, and KEMA-KEUR I standards and it is also UL listed and CSA certified. The Cutler-Hammer LGE3630NN is 5.5 inches in width, 4.1 inches in depth, and 10.1 inches in height. These measurements ensure that the LGE3630NN occupies less space compared to other types of circuit breakers. Having a type LG frame, the LGE3630NN has an electronic trip type. Additionally, the LGE3630NN, including other molded case circuit breakers with an LG-frame type, operates in four modes, ON, TRIP, OFF, and RESET.
To assist in troubleshooting and monitoring, the LGE3630NN has 2 LED status indicators. One indicates an overload while the other indicates normal operation of the circuit breaker. If the maximum load current is exceeded by 20%, the normal operation status LED will blink once per second. The LGE3630NN circuit breaker, as with other circuit breakers with the LG frame type, has a selection mechanism for the selection of the trip, either without phase unbalance detection (J, K, L, M) or with phase unbalance detection (N, O, P, Q). The LGE3630NN also features a knob to select the continuous current settings. Note that when selecting the continuous current values choose the values closest to the motor nameplate’s full load current. The LGE3630NN will only initiate a trip if the selected continuous current is surpassed by 115%.
