The LGE3600FAG is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker from Westinghouse/Cutler-Hammer. Although the trip type is thermal magnetic, the thermal aspect is fixed while the magnetic aspect is adjustable. The LGE3600FAG has a DC voltage rating of 250 Volts and an AC voltage rating of 600 Volts. The current rating for the circuit breaker is 600 Amps and the operating frequency is 50 or 60 degrees Celsius. The breaker can be mounted on a DIN rail or a panel. When mounting the LGE3600FAG on a DIN rail, a DIN rail adapter must be used. The LGE3600FAG circuit breaker has three poles and it is part of the Cutler-Hammer LG series of molded case circuit breakers. The shunt trip and the electronic trip unit are optional when protecting a system with the LGE3600FAG circuit breaker.
The breaker has a gross weight of 16 pounds, a height of 7.13 inches, a width of 7.75 inches, and a depth of 15.75 inches. Also, the LGE3600FAG has an interrupt rating of 18 kAIC at an AC voltage of 600 Volts AC. The circuit breaker contains line/load side lug box terminals which can accommodate a maximum tightening torque of 42 N-m. Additionally, the LGE3600FAG is IEC, CE, UL, and CSA certified and HACR rated. The LGE3600FAG uses metric mounting hardware. By using a factory-sealed molded case, the circuit breaker can work for long periods without maintenance. However, the tripping mechanism and the general operational status need to be examined frequently. To cover the terminals, the LGE3600FAG and other circuit breakers with an LG frame type use the LTS3K terminal cover.
