The LGE3400FAG complete breaker is part of Series G of the 3-pole class of Cutler-Hammer molded case circuit breakers manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. It is rated at 400 Amps of current, with an LG-Frame size. Its KAIC performance rating ranges between 18 KAIC at 600 Volts AC, 35 KAIC at 415 and 480 Volts AC, and 65 KAIC at 240 Volts AC. It can be adapted for multipurpose applications in different industries for industrial or field equipment and conductors requiring high-performance short circuit, overload, and undervoltage protection. All Series G molded case circuit breakers, including the LGE3400FAG circuit breaker, feature ground-fault protection and they are ideal for global applications. It has a flexible range of interrupting capacities and it features an adjustable magnetic trip and fixed thermal trip capabilities to ensure effective circuit protection during operation.
Its glass-polyester enclosure provides insulation for its internal components and it provides protection from external elements that might hinder maximum performance or cause damage thereby making the LGE3400FAG Series G circuit breaker suitable for use in different environments. Standard line and load terminals are available on the LGE3400FAG circuit breaker for connecting it into the circuit and its on, off, or tripped state is always clearly indicated by the position of the switch handle as well as the colors displayed on the little window to the side of the switch. Mounting the LGE3400FAG circuit breaker horizontally or vertically does not affect its performance but to ensure operation and avoid nuisance trips, all conductors that are connected to its terminals and all connected loads must be within its rated capacities.
