The RD325T56W is an Eaton Series C molded case electronic circuit breaker. The breaker has an interrupt rating of 125 kAIC at 240 Volts AC. The RD325T56W has interchangeable rating plugs and it uses the Digitrip trip type with a Root Mean Square rating of 510 RMS and which supports the LSIG functions. The RD325T56W also has an over-temperature trip protection feature. Additionally, the RD325T56W has a short delay time zone selective interlocking feature, a short delay (flat) range of between 100 and 500 milliseconds, and an instantaneous override feature. For the ground fault protection, the RD325T56W has a ground fault zone selective interlocking and a ground fault thermal memory. Although the circuit breaker provides system monitoring LEDs, it does not include a digital display and it does not have features to monitor the voltage, current, power, and energy rating.
The RD325T56W accommodates an integral testing method. The maximum continuous current for the circuit breaker is rated at 2500 Amps at 40 degrees Celsius. The RD325T56W can operate under voltage ratings of between 125 Volts AC and 600 Volts AC. Due to its molded case, the circuit breaker has to be manually inspected for any signs of malfunctioning. During inspection, the RD325T56W has to be manually tripped using the push-to-trip button located below the tripping arm. The Eaton RD325T56W has 3 poles and it belongs to the reliable Series C family of molded case circuit breakers designed and manufactured by Eaton to be used in diverse applications across the industrial floor. The RD325T56W is shipped without terminals and it meets international standards.
