The Eaton ND412WK is a product code for a Type ND high instantaneous circuit breaker designed by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This type of circuit breaker has a molded case and it comes from an extensive product series (Series C) which offers various circuit protection solutions. The series includes 8 different frame types and a range of circuit breakers that are manufactured with amperage ratings between 15 and 2500 Amps. The Eaton electrical components that are made under the Eaton brand include a variety of molded circuit breakers that are designed especially for electrical and machinery OEMs in order to serve different industries and they can be utilized for various applications. Series C includes various circuit protection components such as electronic trip units, molded case switches, thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, and motor circuit protectors. The Series C ND412WK circuit breaker is customized for domestic use and even though it features fewer options than Eaton G Product Series circuit breakers, this model can offer a lot of useful features. The integration of the ND412WK or similar circuit breakers into a system will improve the performance of the overall system and it will protect the equipment and reduce costs.
The ND412WK molded case circuit breaker has an interrupting capacity (kA symmetrical Amperes) of 85 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and of 50 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and it also has an operating voltage rating of 600 Volts AC. This ND type of circuit breaker does not include terminals and it has 4 poles. This circuit breaker also features 1200 Amps of continuous current rating at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. The ND412WK is made according to relevant standards and it is, therefore, UL/CE listed. The dimensions of this circuit breaker include a length of 419 millimeters (16.5 inches), a height of 228.6 millimeters (9 inches), and a width of 228.6 millimeters (9 inches).
