The Eaton ND3800T106W is a molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) with an electronic trip unit. Its maximum continuous ampere rating at 40 degrees Celsius is 800 Amps. The device may also be employed at currents less than this value because it is rating plug-dependable. The users can associate any rating plugs rated from 400 to 800 Amps to this circuit breaker, and they adjust it in this way for any of their current needs. The users can change this rating plug anytime in the future if the configuration of their system changes. The ETU (Electronic Trip Unit) of the ND3800T106W offers a span of adjustability for the trip types, it is described with the LSIG designation -that is, with the (L) Long, (S) Short, (I) Instantaneous, and (G) Ground adjustable settings.
The Eaton Cutler-Hammer ND3800T106W 3-pole MCCB has a standard NG Frame interrupting capacity of 50 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. It is applicable in systems with a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC. This circuit breaker is part of Eaton’s Series C of circuit breakers. In a trip situation, the handle located on the front side of the ND3800T106W module will move to the middle (trip) position. To switch and activate the device, users should manually push the handle to reset and then to the on position. To prevent the unintentional running of the circuit breaker, the users can buy and install circuit breaker handle-locks. Rating plugs and load and input side terminals are not included with this item. Use only the Digitrip OPTIM Rating Plugs with this device. Install the product with a bolt-on connection to the panelboard. Do not use the product in surroundings with temperatures higher than 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit).
