The TA800MA2 is an Eaton Cutler Hammer Series C Lug Terminal Kit that belongs to the TA type of terminal kit. The unit is an aluminum metal type of terminal kit featuring 1 barrel and with 400 MCM. The module is field installable and it is also suitable for various frame types that include the HMDLDC, the E2M, the E2MM, the MAM, the HMAM, the MAMH, the MDL, the HMDL, the MDLB, the HMDLB, the MD, the MDY, the MDS, and also the MDSY molded circuit breakers. The TA800MA2 terminal kit comes as a single individually packaged unit and therefore it is sold separately.
The TA800MA2 has optional AI/Cu pressure terminals with an amperage rating of 800 Amps and its wire size includes the #3/0 AWG-400 KCMIL CU/AI. The unit comes with a UL Listed Certification. The TA800MA2 Eaton optional pressure terminal lug kit features aluminum or a copper conductor frame that helps to ensure an enhanced durability. The terminal lug comes with 2 conductors that allow for or accommodate 3/0 AWG-400 KCMIL wires. It has shipping dimensions of 3 x 4 x 3 inches. The gross shipping weight is 0.7 pounds. And it features a maximum conductor size of 400 Kcmil with the minimum conductor size being 3/0 Awg. The TA800MA2 is also a solderless connector splicing and terminating kit, the main application for the TA800MA2 is circuit protection and so it is only used on the above-listed circuit breaker frame types. This module is rated at 100% of its frame size in assembly provided that 90 degrees Celsius wire will be applied at the 75 degrees Celsius ampacity. Generally, the TA800MA2 is used on Eaton`s molded case compact switches that are common for the applications requiring high-current switching.
