The TA700MA1 is a lug terminal kit from Cutler-Hammer for the Series C circuit breakers. It is made out of aluminum and it can be used along with the thermal magnetic trip unit types of circuit breakers. The TA700MA1 is a line and load terminal and the maximum breaker current rating with which it is recommended to be used is 700 Amps. When users need optional terminals, they can order them based on the catalog number. The wires which are to be used along with these terminals can be made from copper or aluminum. The recommended size of the wire is 2 AWG 1 - 500 kcmil.
The wire must be installed securely in place and the users should make sure that the screw is tightened with the proper tool to make sure the connection is secure and does not get loose when the wire moves. This is important to prevent any hazards due to shock and also to prevent equipment damage and it needs to be done before the power to the system is turned on. The TA700MA1 circuit breaker must be installed securely in place according to the instructions supplied by the manufacturer. This terminal is field installable and it is compatible with HMDLDC, E2M, E2MM, MAM, HMAM, MAMH, MDL, HMDL, MLB, HMDLB, MD, MDY, MDS, and the MDSY frames of the circuit breakers which are made by Cutler-Hammer. While installing the TA700MA1, it is necessary to follow the safety guidelines and the local regulations for the safety of the person installing the device.
