The MT2400T power amplifier from Crown industries is an excellent and versatile power amplifier. Belonging to the Microtech series, the MT2400T power amplifier comes with S state channels that incorporate both grounded bridge channels and multimode mode channels. The output channels of the MT2400T can be switched between bridge-mono and parallel-mono as well as stereo operations modes. The bridge-mono mode of the MT2400T provides increased output voltage while the parallel-mono mode provides an increased output current. The output impedance values of both of these channels stay below 10 milliohms, but in the case of the stereo node, it is less than 2 milliohms.
The power requirement of the MT2400T is a stable 125 Volts Voltage when it is running. When it is in standby mode, the power requirements fall to 100 Volts or less. The frequency rating of the MT2400T is a solid 60 Hertz. Featuring protected circuitry, the MT2400T is capable of limiting the drive levels of devices to ensure that they do not reach the maximum capacity. If it does, the MT2400T automatically goes into standby mode and it only resumes operations after the temperature has fallen below the critical limit. For separating the signal ground from the chassis ground, the MT2400T incorporates rear-mounted controls. The internal controls of the MT2400T include a senility switch to select a voltage output between 3 options, the full voltage output, 1.4 voltage output, and 0.775 voltage output. The MT2400T features a rack mounting option for easy and quick installation and setup. The length and depth dimensions of the MT2400T stand at 19 x 3.5 inches. Without packaging, the weight of the MT2400T comes to 46 pounds 14 ounces.
