The MDL3450 is a circuit protector that is manufactured by Cutler Hammer. The circuit breaker is classified as a C series circuit protector. It comes as UL listed device with a warranty from the manufacturer. The MDL3450 comes with M frame type with an interrupt rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, and 50 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The circuit breaker features the MDL frame type and it is also classified as a MDL breaker type with a voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC. The Amperage rating for the MDL3450 is 450 Amperes and comes with a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. It is a three-pole circuit breaker.
The MDL3450 features the instantaneous override, but doesn’t come with the ground fault alarm. The MDL3450 features the ground fault pickup protection and also the ground fault delay flat. Another ground fault protection featured by the MDL3450 is ground fault thermal memory. For the system diagnostics, the MDL3450 comes with status LED lights. These are useful in helping to know the operational status of the module. Another feature is the remote signal contact or the ground alarm, which is included with the circuit protector. The MDL3450 does not feature a system monitoring digital display, but is comes with the testing method that is the test set.
