The Eaton HLDB3600FT35W is an L Frame circuit breaker with a fixed electronic trip module. It has 3 poles and it is rated at 600 Amps. The HLDB3600FT35W includes an integrated Digitrip RMS 310 LSG module. This electronic trip module supports adjustable long delay pickup, adjustable short delay pickup with a fixed short delay time or an adjustable short delay time, and an adjustable ground fault pickup with an adjustable ground fault delay. The HLDB3600FT35W weighs 20 pounds. Its dimensions are 10.75 inches in height, 11.00 inches in width, and 4.06 inches in depth. The manual operation of the HLDB3600FT35W is controlled by the circuit breaker handle and the push-to-trip button. The breaker handle has 3 positions, 2 of which (on and off) are indicated on the cover. The 3 positions are also shown by a color-coded strip for each circuit breaker handle position and the colors are red for the on state, green for the off state, and white for the tripped state. After the HLDB3600FT35W trips, it can be reset by moving the handle to the reset position. When tripping due to a thermal event occurs, the breaker requires sufficient time – usually 5 minutes - to cool down before it can be reset. A breaker with a Digitrip unit simulates the thermal element with an electronic “thermal memory” that also requires 5 minutes to cool before the breaker can be turned on.
