The KT3300T is an Eaton C-Series Electronic Molded Case Circuit breaker trip unit. The module features a K-size frame and comes with an Amperage rating of 300 Amps. The KT3300T has the thermal magnetic trip type and comes with up to three poles. As the UL Listed certified unit, the KT3300T is one of the UL 489 devices that are intended to provide protection for services entrance, feeder and branch circuits. The module has a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC with a shunt trip and undervoltage release coming as optional features. The trip unit features both the Adj. Thermal and Adj. Magnetic features. It comes with no neutral pole and no neutral protection feature. The KT3300T has an alarm switch feature fitted with the UL and CSA certifications. It comes with shipping dimension of 7 inches by 4.5 inches by 5.25 inches and weighs around 1 pound.
During the installation of the KT3300T, it is recommended that installer not attempt to install or perform any maintenance operation on the KT3300T while it is energized. This might result in a severe injury, property or applications damage, and the possibility of death as a result of injuries sustained from such a careless act. Therefore, the user has been cautioned to adhere to the manufacturer’s recommendations and cautions when it comes to installation of this module. Ensure that the circuit breaker is inspected before attempting to install the trip unit and the rating plug. The circuit breaker toggle should be tripped to the off position-mount the trip unit and accessories in the circuit breaker frame. If you are using an aluminum conductor, the application of a suitable joint compounded is recommended so as to reduce the possibility of terminal overheating. Note that overheating can result to nuisance tripping and damage to the KT3300T. The KT3300T is one of the Eaton’s brand molded case circuit breakers that is available in the market.
