The KES3250LSIG is a Cutler-Hammer molded case circuit breaker manufactured under the C Series classification. The KES3250LSIG is a 3-pole trip unit with a current capacity of up to 250 Amps. The unit is a UL 489 device that is intended for providing circuit protection on feeder systems, and protecting the branch circuits and the service entrance. The KES3250LSIG comes with the shunt trip and the undervoltage release options. It is an LSIG electronic trip unit that comes with microprocessors for intelligent protection. The KES3250LSIG features the alarm switch option and it comes with the UL and CSA approvals. The KES3250LSIG has the adjustable thermal and adjustable magnetic trip units. The KES3250LSIG features a standard interrupting capacity with feed-thru and complete non-interchangeable LI long-time and instantaneous trip functions featuring the line and load side lug terminals.
In case a dual-conductor terminal is installed on the trip unit with a single conductor, the conductor should be installed on the open terminal end near the circuit breaker. Ensure that the line and load conductors and accessories are correctly connected as well. If users are replacing an existing KES3250LSIG circuit breaker, ensure that the voltage, continuous current, and interrupting ratings are suitable. The KES3250LSIG has a magnetic element on each of the poles that can be adjusted by rotating the provided adjustment buttons that are on the front of the unit. This can be done by using a suitable screwdriver. The Series C molded case circuit breakers come with an excellent design providing long service timeframe. However, it is important to ensure that the circuit breaker is serviced and inspected routinely. The periodic checks help to prolong the lifetime of the KES3250LSIG.
