The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KDB3350 Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a complete assembled Frame K circuit breaker with a non-interchangeable trip unit, which provides overload and short-circuits protection to conductors and connected appliances in a low voltage distribution system. It is suitable for reverse feed use and HACR rated applications and built for easy and convenient field wiring it supplied load and line side terminals. The KDB3350 is rated at 350 Amps (current rating), with a maximum interrupting rating of 35 KAIC, and it is suitable for 600 Volt AC ground and unground system. It can be wired to single and 3-phase applications depending on application needs using the 3-pole design. The KDB3350 is designed with Copper/Aluminium load and line side terminals, structurally designed to meet the nominal current rating, as well as provide easy means of wiring. It has an enclosure made of insulating material, and which houses a non-interchangeable trip unit. It has both thermal and magnetic trip elements, which provides fast-acting trip action and it achieves trip action using electromagnetic in series with line current and a bimetal heated by current load. The KDB3350 also has an operating mechanism of quick make and break type, which provides a means of operating the breaker’s contacts, and also indicate trip position. It has an ambient temperature rating of 40 degrees Celsius and can be used in a non-corrosive and non-condensing relative humidity environment. The KDB3350 weighs averagely 5.2 kilograms and has an aggregate dimension of 149.7 x 257.3 x 104.1 millimeters.
