The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KDB3200 is a molded case circuit breaker. This K-frame-sized molded case circuit breaker with 3 poles is suited for the circuit protection of systems that are rated at 200 Amps. The device is supplied with 3 red rotating setting knobs which users can find in the lower part of the module. Their purpose is to allow for a thermal trip setting in the range of 5 to 10 multiples of the nominal circuit breaker current rating. This KDB type circuit breaker measures 5.50 inches (149.7 millimeters) x 10.13 inches (257.3 millimeters) x 4.10 inches (104.1 millimeters). It is delivered with line and load terminals. These terminals are made of aluminum. They offer premium temperature and electrical conductivity, and they are highly corrosion resistant. The module is applicable to 250 Volts DC rated circuits and to 600 Volts AC rated circuits.
The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KDB3200 is a C Series circuit breaker. It is delivered in either the light or the dark gray plastic housing. It includes plastic covers that protect both input and output terminals from being touched by the users. The item is factory pre-assembled, and its trip unit is not designed to be changed. The KDB3200 circuit breaker can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. If users need to have more than one load side termination, they can acquire multi-wire terminals that are accessories for the KDB3200 molded-case circuit breaker. If users use these terminals that are provided by Eaton, their circuit breakers will still be UL-listed. It is advised to keep the cable lengths at the load side of the device at 10 feet or less.
