The KDB3150W is a circuit breaker that has been created and manufactured by the Eaton Cutler-Hammer corporation. This Series C Eaton circuit breaker comes inside a molded case K Frame for protection. The thermal and magnetic trips cannot be altered on this device. This 3-pole device runs with 150 Trip Amps, 600 Volts AC, and 250 Volts DC. The running frequency is maintained in between 50 and 60 Hertz, depending on the breaker load. The interrupt rating has been set at 35 kAIC for 480 Volts AC voltage and 65 kAIC for 240 Volts AC voltage. The KDB3150W is designed to meet the requirements of single-phase AC circuits, but it can also be used with a DC circuit while using protective poles. This is a perfect safety solution for places where the electricity demand is high.
The KDB3150W can provide protection to an entire circuit system when there is excessive current in the lines. A power-on and power-off handle is present on the front panel of the device. It can power the circuit breaker on and off and it can also test the breaker for its functionality. The KDB3150W is 11.5 pounds in weight. It is also 5.5 inches high, 5.5 inches wide, and 4.1 inches long. The main function of this circuit breaker device is to protect the complete electrical system from excessive current conditions by shutting down the circuit when it detects excessive currents. It comes with a 1-year warranty from the setup date or an 18-month warranty from the shipped date, depending on which one occurs sooner.
