The Eaton KDB2300 has been manufactured and developed by Eaton as a K frame circuit breaker from the C Series. The KDB2300 has the standard line and load terminals and it has 2 poles. The maximum current rating of the device is 300 Amps. The circuit breaker protects the equipment from any overcurrent or overload conditions by disconnecting the power supply when these errors occur. This is caused by the internal mechanism which gets activated when the current flowing through the device goes beyond the rated limits. The users must install the KDB2300 with the equipment according to the connections specified in the installation manual of the device and users must make sure the connections are secured.
There should be no exposed wires in the KDB2300 and the terminals must be tightened to prevent the wires from coming out due to movement. Users must use an appropriate gauge wire to make sure the necessary current flows through the device. When users receive the device from the manufacturer, they must first inspect the shipping packages for any visible damage, and if there is any, they must inform the shipping agency immediately. If the users need any assistance regarding the optional part numbers, ordering information, or installation support, they can contact the local distributor or the Eaton support team for further assistance. It is necessary for the installation to be done with the main power supply turned off, and the users must verify the connections before the power is turned back on. The switch of the trip unit must be in the off position at all times when doing the installation.
