The KD3350 is a 3-pole Cutler-Hammer Series C thermal magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. It is has a K-frame size and is rated at 600 Volts AC, 350 Amps, 25 kiloamps interrupting capacity at 600 Volts AC, and 50 to 60 Hertz frequency. Its dimensions in inches are 6.3 x 5.9 x 12.3 inches, and it weighs 4.98 kilograms. This circuit breaker features interchangeable trip units and it can be used to provide overload or short circuit protection for equipment and conductors in different industrial environments. Like all Cutler-Hammer Series C thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, the KD3350 circuit breaker provides speedy blow open action to maximize its trip capabilities. It comprises trip units, a frame, and line and load terminals, all of which are assembled right from the factory for ease of installation. Its line and load terminals feature screw-clamp type terminals which securely hold conductors in place and it features interchangeable trip units.
The KD3350 circuit breaker is designed to meet space-saving requirements and if used strictly within its power rating, it stays operational for years without the need for maintenance or replacement. Its rugged casing is built from high-quality materials that provide proper insulation and protection for its components and for safe operation, and it also supports flexible mounting options with different types of conductors. The fast and effective blow-open feature and glass-polyester insulation of the KD3350 circuit breaker does a great job at ensuring that dirt and grease do not prevent the toggle switch handle from moving into the trip position when a fault occurs, thereby reducing the possibility of a jam in the switching.
