The Eaton DK2250 molded-case circuit breaker is part of Series C and it is a product with many protective features that can improve the mechanical system it is a part of. Eaton is one of the most significant producers of products that provide circuit protection and other industrial devices that are used for power distribution, control, monitoring, and automation. The Eaton DK2250 molded-case circuit breaker and other members of this product series offer high-quality circuit breakers that are reliable, efficient, and safe to use in any circumstances. The DK2250 circuit breaker has a K-frame and it features two poles. The continuous current rating at 40 degrees Celsius of the circuit breakers from this series and with this particular frame ranges from 250 to 400 Amps, and the DK2250 circuit breaker is a 250 Amps model.
The DK2250 has a UL listed interrupting rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts and one of 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. In addition to that, the DK2250 has a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. Series C is intended only for the domestic market and even though it has fewer options than some other similar series, it has a number of features that are important. These circuit breakers work in a temperature range from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) but they can be additionally calibrated for operating at a range of -20 to 70 degrees Celsius (-4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit) ambient temperature. This DK type of circuit breaker features a fixed thermal magnetic trip and line and load terminals. The terminal is made out of high-quality aluminum and the frame type of this circuit breaker serves as a complete breaker. These industrial circuit breakers are very small in size, so this device is only 104 millimeters (4.1 inches) long, 139 millimeters (5.5 inches) high, and 139 millimeters (5.5 inches) wide. The product weight is around 5.2 kilograms (11.5 pounds).
