The JT3200T is electronic molded case trip unit manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The unit is classified under the C series circuit breakers and it features the JT circuit breaker type. It comes with a minimum/maximum current of 200 Amps and it also features a non-interchangeable thermal magnetic trip type. The JT3200T is a UL 489 device that is intended to offer protection for the service entrance, feeder, and branch circuits. The unit is a 3-pole circuit breaker with a UL-Listed certification. The JT3200T has various frame types that include the HJDDC, JD, HJD, and also the JDC frames. The functions of the JT3200T include the LI-Long-Time instantaneous circuit breaker with high availability. Because it is a circuit breaker with non-interchangeable trip units, it is suitable for reverse feed use. The JT3200T is commonly used for the panelboards, switchboards, motor control centers, and also the busway applications for dependable circuit protection.
The JT3200T features alternative terminal types that includes a Line terminal or a Load terminal. It does not support a neutral pole for neutral protection, but it comes with an option for an alarm switch and it has the UL approvals. The JT3200T trip unit features an adjustable thermal trip and an adjustable magnetic trip with an option for the shunt trip and also for the undervoltage release. The JT3200T is HACR rated and it is available as an individual component or as a factory assembled complete breaker. However, the complete factory assembled circuit breaker will cost more than the individual component. The JT3200T comes with shipping dimensions of 4.3 inches in height, 5.5 inches in width, and 6.9 inches in length. It also weighs 1 pound when packaged for shipment.
