The FDB2050 is a series C molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler Hammer. FDB2050 has two poles and a trip ampere of 50 amperes. The physical dimension of FDB2050 molded case circuit breaker is 2.75 inches (70 millimeters) length, 6 inches (152 millimeters) width, and 3.375 inches (86 millimeters) depth. The weight of the circuit breaker is only 3 pounds (1.361 kilograms). The compact design circuit breaker satisfies many international certifications that justify its high-quality performance. Some of the notable international certifications bodies are Australian Standard AS 2184 – molded case circuit breakers, Japanese T-mark standard molded case circuit breaker, National electrical manufacturers association standards publication number AB1 – 1993 – molded case circuit breakers. FDB2050 molded case circuit breakers are designed to offer a high-quality performance of controlling excess current from entering your electrical appliances caused by an overload voltage or short circuit.
The circuit breaker has an 18000-interrupting capacity UL-489 at 240 volts alternating current at 50/60 hertz frequency. Similarly, 14,000 interrupting capacity alternating current at volts at 50/60 Hertz and 14,000 interrupting capacity at 600 volts alternating current 50/60 hertz frequency. For the direct current, the molded case circuit breaker is capacitated to control 10,000 interrupting capacity at 250 volts direct current. On the other hand, IEC 157-1 interrupting capacity ratings (P1) designate the FDB2050 circuit breakers to control 18,000 at 220 and 240 volts alternating current, 14,000 at 380 and 415 volts alternating current, 14,000 at 440 volts alternating current, 14,000 at 500 volts alternating current and 10,000 interrupting capacity amperes at 250 volts direct current.
