The JDC3250F is a Cutler-Hammer circuit breaker classified as a C Series switch. The module features as a J-frame style and size with an interrupt rating of 200 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, and 100 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The circuit breaker is a frame-only switch type with the JDC breaker type and with a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. The module has a maximum voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and also features 250 Volts DC. It has a current rating of 250 Amps with the fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types. The JDC3250F is also a three-pole circuit breaker. The JDC3250F is a UL listed circuit breaker that comes with shipping dimensions of 4.06 inches in length, 4.13 inches in height, and 4.13 inches in width, and it weighs 9.15 pounds.

It is also used for distribution systems offering main and branch circuit protection. For distribution systems, the JDC3250F features main and branch circuit breaker current ratings of up to 2500 Amps. These circuit breakers provide improved performance by occupying considerably less space than standard circuit breakers. The JDC3250F features a toggle operating mechanism and tripping is usually a result of an overload or a short circuit.
