The Eaton JDC3175 is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 molded case circuit breaker belongs to Series C of the JD Type Molded Case Circuit Breakers. The Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 circuit breaker operates with 3 poles, 175 Amps of current rating, and 100 kAIC of interrupting rating at 480 Volts AC. The Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 circuit breaker is contained in a Frame J enclosure type. The Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 circuit breaker has an optional internal accessory that offers remote tripping and indicates the status of the circuit breaker. The Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 circuit breaker is applicable in both ungrounded and in select grounded applications with 3 poles that are connected in a series for the molded case circuit breaker to be able to operate at full voltage.
The Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 molded case circuit breaker consists of a 3R-Type rainproof surface mounting that provides a weatherproof sheet steel enclosure to act as the main disconnect feature and as the protective module for the feeder circuits. The Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 molded case circuit breaker can be operated easily from the front side, and the circuit breaker is also capable of being padlocked in either the on or off position. For metering applications and branch circuits, the PM3 metering module is recommended for use with the Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 circuit breaker. The PM3 metering module is versatile while it connects to the load side of the Cutler-Hammer JDC3175 molded case circuit breaker and communicates effectively to the internet through the Eaton Power Xpert® Gateways.
