The Eaton JDC2250F circuit breaker runs on 250 Amps, it is a 2-pole breaker, and it belongs to Series C of the Eaton circuit breaker. This product comes with a J-frame and it is the HJD type of breaker. The JDC2250F has a maximum continuous ampere rating of 70 to 250 Amps at 40 degrees Celsius. All circuit breakers with the J Frame are HACR rated. They can also be accessed as separable components with different frames, trip units, and terminals. The assembling of these breakers is done in the factory to make them and ship them as complete molded case circuit breakers. All the J Frame breakers featuring non-interchangeable trip units are perfect for reverse feed use. The Eaton JDC2250F and the other Series C circuit breakers are used in panelboards, motor control centers, switchboards, and in busway applications as consistent circuit protectors.
The JDC2250F circuit breaker meets and adheres to the North American standards. They are also available for systems rated at up to 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC with current ratings of 2500 Amps. These Eaton products provide wire connecting abilities for certain series of continuous current ratings and wire types. All these terminals meet the Underwriters Laboratories Standards, specifically the UL 486B, UL 486A, and the Electrical Bulletin 1165 standards. The J Frame breakers’ line and load terminals are shipped separately to be installed separately. As for the molded case switches by Eaton, they are perfect for use as compact switches in applications that require high current-switching abilities. These molded case switches are built using circuit breaker parts and they are the high instantaneous automatic type.
